Pioneer Pathways to Zion, 1846–1890
Opening July 13, 2017: Discover the many trails traversed by Latter-day Saint pioneers who gathered to Zion in the Salt Lake Valley between 1846 and 1890. Every trail holds the stories of those who traveled by its way.
This exhibition features 50 of the museum’s most treasured pioneer artifacts. Visitors can select real pioneer stories to follow along the trail, explore 3-D topographical maps, try their hand at a functional wagon roadometer, and more. Learn more about the exhibit below.
