Annie Sophia Larsen

Daughter of Mads and Elizabeth Pedersen Larsen. The Mads Larsen family arrived in New York on 15 Feb. 1856 on the ship John J. Boyd. In St. Louis that year they signed a PEF bond. Although Annie's obituary says she was a handcart pioneer of 1855, something is wrong because handcarts were not used until 1856. Additional research is needed to identify the name of the pioneer company with which they traveled.
