Thomas Ackley Lyne

Thomas A. Lyne was a professional actor who performed in Nauvoo, Illinois after converting to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He left Nauvoo before the main exodus of the Saints and little is known about him until 1862 when he was appearing in Denver, Colorado. Invited to Salt Lake City to direct a stock company for the newly-built Salt Lake Theatre, his name (T.A. Lyne) appeared on a play bill 25 December 1862.
