Agnes was born in Scotland and crossed the Atlantic with her parents and a brother in 1850. Her brother (David Patterson Cook) crossed the plains in 1852. Her mother (Elizabeth) died at St. Louis. According to her obituary Agnes traveled to Utah in 1850; but we cannot say for certain if she was with their father. Additional research is needed.
