William Brown Smith

William's obituary states that he came to Utah in 1850. Further research is needed to determine the name of the company his family traveled with.

William later participated as one of the rescuers that were sent out in the winter of 1856 to assist the members of the Church stranded in Wyoming.

His birth date is confirmed by the Utah State History Cemeteries and Burials Database and his gravestone.
