James Mills Paxton

John Ramsay sailed to America alone in 1862 on the John J. Boyd.   His wife Jane Mills Paxton Ramsay and her children from her first marriage, James and Jane Paxton, sailed on the 1863 John J. Boyd.  Apparently, John came to Utah in the 1862 Homer Duncan Company and then returned to the East to meet his family.  They then proceeded together to Utah in the 1863 Daniel D. McArthur Company.

His names is listed as "James Mills Paston" on the Utah Death Certificate Index.
