John Peter Johansen

The family is listed with the surname of "Johansen" on the 1862 Hamburg ship manifest, but apparently all of the children used the surname of "Johnson" after arriving in America.  The parents retain "Johansen" as their surname. His given name is listed as "Johan" on the European Mission records.

The company he traveled with was noted in local church financial records.
