Haden Wells Church

From Council Bluffs, Haden Wells Church enrolled as a member of the Mormon Battalion.  He was discharged in the Fall of 1847 and traveled with the Mormon Battalion Sick Detachments in 1847 to Pueblo, Colorado for the winter and then on into the Salt Lake Valley, arriving about 5 days after the Brigham Young Pioneer Company. 

His wife, Sarah Ann, and their son, Hyrum, traveled to the Valley with the Abraham O. Smooth Company in 1847.

At the end of a mission to England, Haden traveled home with the John Banks Company in 1856.
