The Green brothers came to Utah between 1852 and 1855. They likely came in 1852, the year they sailed to America. But the first documentation to place them in Utah is the 1856 Utah census, which was taken in February 1856, before the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to establish the year of their travel and the name of the company they traveled with. Both brothers participated in working as teamsters for out and back companies at one time or another, one of which was the William Chipman Company in 1866.
