    A Church History Missionary

Ambika Vadakedath, though originally from the Far South of India, learned several languages and dialects spoken in northern India and Pakistan while working as an army nurse during two wars between the two countries. Many years later, she found a more spiritual use for her language skills, transcribing the oral histories of Pakistani Latter-day Saints as a missionary in the Church History Library.
