    Teach It

    Parents and grandparents who had converted to the Church in its early years and had their own defining experiences with Joseph Smith or crossing the plains often wondered how to pass on the same driving conviction to the next generations. Jane Snyder Richards thought the answer was simple enough: “We cannot expect our children to be carried away with the Gospel,” she said, “if we do not teach it to them.”
