Volunteer in Church History

The Church History Department shares the history of the Church with people throughout the world through its websites, publications, historic sites, museum, and library.

We seek able and enthusiastic volunteers and missionaries with interests and experience in history, archives, libraries, records management, digital scanning, conservation, copyright, database management, asset tracking, business processes, technical support, tour hosting, training, and customer service.

Volunteer opportunities may take the form of a Church-service mission, a full-time mission, or an ongoing volunteer commitment. Missionary opportunities are coordinated through the Family and Church History Headquarters Mission. Specific information about each opportunity is outlined below. Feel free to contact us at 1-801-240-6528 or churchhistoryvolunteer@ldschurch.org.
