The Church History Library is located north of the Church Office Building and east of the Conference Center. Nearby public parking lots are available within half a block of the facility. Patrons can use all the public parking facilities for a fee.
Two-hour street parking and pay stations are also available throughout the city. Pay station parking is free after 6:00 p.m., for two hours on Saturdays, and all day on Sundays and holidays.
Additional free parking is available northeast of the Utah State Capitol building. (Continue north on State Street.) Patrons can take bus 500 from the capitol to the library for free.
Free parking is also available for visitors to the library during limited hours on Thursdays and Saturdays in the lot east of the Church History Library. The entrance gate will be open on Thursday evenings from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please note that the exit arm will open automatically as vehicles approach.
Use of TRAX (light-rail) and busses in the downtown area is fare free.
