Mary Price

Mary's obituary says she came to Utah in 1864 with her elder sister Ruth. They were from Wales. A Ruth P. Evans (b. ca. 1849) and a Mary P. Evans (b. ca. 1851) crossed the Atlantic on the ship General McClellan in 1864. These girls are probably Ruth Ann and Mary Price (the birth dates closely coincide and their father's name was John Evan Price). Ruth and Mary also appear in Perpetual Emigrating Fund records under the surname Evans. Further research is needed to verify these conclusions and to identify the name of the company with which the girls traveled.
