Eliza Salmon McCaughie

She traveled on the ship "Horizon" under the leadership of Edward Martin. Her Mexican War widow's petition claim affidavits explain that she immigrated from England to St. Louis and married Thomas McCaughie (McCoy). He died in 1859 and she then traveled on to Salt Lake with his daughter, Emma, between 1861 and 1863. In 1863 she married Edward Martin.
